Jaguar X Type

By Maisto. Does anyone here know why this car was originally offered only with 4WD, even it's a Jaguar ? I mean, historically, Jaguars are RWD, right ? Well, here's why: Ford, the parent company, wanted to create a smaller Jaguar using their world famous Mondeo / Contour platform. Now, here's the problem: that's a FWD car, and a FWD Jaguar would not be acceptable to Jaguar lovers ! . . . Well, OK then. . . here's a solution: Let's make it a 4WD, so people wouldn't think it's a FWD Ford. . .

Jaguar S Type

By Maisto. I think this is one of the most beautiful car on the road. "Jeweler's details" is a good expression to describe this car. . . When I was young, I used to dream of the day when my wife would pick me up after work in her crystal clean metalic burgandy S-type. Will it ever happen ? Probably not. . . Now, speaking of the diecast, this is a Maisto unit, but I wish high quality makers like Minichamps would make this one.

Jaguar E Type Convertible

By Burago. Believe it or not, I've been in this car, when I was young, living in Brisbane, Australia. My father's biz partner back then, owned a beautifully restored Jaguar E-type Convertible, and he gave me a shotgun ride. I was probably. . . 8 or 9 years old ? Vivid memory of good ol' childhood . . . but problem with my life is that I can only remember car related stuff. . .
