Pontiac Fiero

By Road Signature. Another "improved-quality-yet-affordable" Road Signature diecast model. Why is this car so significant ? Because Fiero was an ideal platform to create a replica of Italian exotic cars ! I have seen some Fiero based F-40 replicas and Countaches, but well, they look... odd. Actually, after the facelift, Fiero became a VERY handsome looking car. I just don't see them on road that much. Did you know that Fiero was originally envisioned by DeLorean ?

Pontiac Vibe GTR

By Road Signature / Yatming. First, I like Vibe's concept. It's a compact, affordable, rather cool looking hatchback, and the fact that it was engineered by Toyota, as a brother car of Matrix, would make it a reliable car... I am guessing. Now, about this diecast: Yatming used to make rather subpar quality models few years back... but wow, did they change. Believe it or not, now they create close-to-Autoart quality diecast, at about 1/4 of the price. Certainly better quality than Maisto !

Cadillac Deville Touring Sedan

By Maisto. Currently Under Construction.
Cadillac Series 62
By Anson. Honestly, it's a big old black Cadillac, and that's about all I know about this car... In my opinion, the cars from this era looks too similar in design... they all look like the car Biff Tannen was driving in the movie, Back to the Future. Now, about this diecast by Anson... it's big. (It's about 11.8 inches long !)

Chevrolet Bel Air Deluxe

By Mira / Solido. One of the very few American classic cars that I have. When I look at this car, it always reminds me that older design does not mean it's a bad design. In fact, this car is probably a lot better looking than half of the cars that are on the road today. I guess then, it would make perfect sense for the manufacturers today, to go for retro-designs, like a Mustang, PT Cruiser, or a Beetle.

Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray

By Mattel / Hot Wheels. I am not very good at identifying the American classics, but well, this one I know for sure ! Originally designed by Lawrence Kiyoshi Shinoda, the 3rd generation Corvette was made from 1968 to 1982 (now, that's a long cycle). Also, it's interesting to hear that this car was THE very first, introduction car for Mattel's now-famous Hot Wheels !

Chevrolet Corvette C5

By Maisto. Currently Under Construction.
Chevrolet Corvair
By Sun Star. So, what's so special about this 1960's Chevrolet ? Well, it's special because this car is an air-cooled REAR engined car, just like the early Porsches and VW Beetle. In fact, it is told that this car layout was inspired by the Beetle. (I know... it doesn't look that way...) Check out the trunk in the pics, you will find its 2.3 litre engine, and a spare tire !

Chevrolet Camaro Z28

By Sun Star. Hands down the best looking Camaro, in the history of ah . . . Camaro !

Chevrolet Impala SS

By Maisto. Currently Under Construction.
